We have the impression that our Cuckoo Partridge males are a bit too light in color. In 1999 we hatched some chicks from mixed origin and among them was a dark male that resembled a bit Cuckoo Partridge. We crossed this male with Cuckoo Partridge females (P-generation in the sheme below) in order to get the offspring a bit darker. The F1 generation is from this year hatch and you can see the varieties in colors that came out of it below.
